My name is Philip E. Barrington.
I began writing after I was crushed as a passenger between two cars, in a horrific accident. I woke up wearing a Philadelphia collar around my neck, two metal wrist splints on both wrists and a cast from my right knee, down to my toes. I was diagnosed with concussion syndrome along with multiple herniation’s in my neck and back. I was left confined to a scouter for mobility.

I learned whom my friends were very rapidly in times of need. To learn someone’s true colors in times of need was shocking, disappointing and it made me sad.

I called a woman that I was friendly with that used a wheelchair due to a serious illness. She had told me her story. I learned how she went into remission and made a full recovery through change of diet and mindset.

She wrote about her battle and created two international best selling books on the subject. This was inspiring to me and this motivated me to start writing. When we spoke she told me to pick up a pencil, start writing and worry about the grammatic errors later, they can always be fixed.

And so I began…
the more I wrote the more momentum developed and more things came to mind to write about. This went on for a several years until my first book “Who Okayed This?! The Riveting Life of Grant Davis” was completed. It’s the diary of Grant Davis. It’s also considered a ‘Faction’ novel because it’s based on some true events that took place.

Long story short, I made a full recovery since the accident. My love and passion for writing has grown.  Presently, I’ve been active in learning the art of photography as well as studying cell physiology and Geo/ Bio physics.

As for my next novel… stay tuned, it’s in the works!
